A native of St. George, UT Stokes and his wife Tia have Five children.

While Stokes’ roots are in St. George, he has a great football career. After attending what was then Dixie College and William Penn University, he was drafted as a tight end by the New England Patriots in 2005. He later played for Arizona and Seattle.

Coach Stokes started his coaching career at Dixie High School in 2009, where he served as the offensive line coach then as head coach. He also served as the head coach of Timpview High School and the offensive coordinator at Crimson Cliffs High School.

Stokes has coached numerous players that have gone on to play at all levels of college football and the NFL.
